I like to work intuitively; finding relationships of shape, size, color and space. Building layers and combining plates in various sequences, creates new and often surprising directions for the image.The print reveals itself in stages and when successful a coherence of color, texture, form and expression is achieved. I have a collage aesthetic and love to layer, overlap and construct my prints. Inspiration is everywhere but recently I see the influence of the Russian Constructivists and other early 20th century modernists, like Miro and Paul Klee.
