At Seventy, Ronna Leon has spent over forty years as a working artist earning her living with her husband as a professional puppeteer with the group Caterpillar Puppets which they founded after graduating from the College of Creative Studies at UCSB. Her children have been raised in Benicia where she also worked to build the Benicia Public Library and served as Benicia’s third Poet Laureate.

Currently she runs the printmaking program for Arts Benicia, teaching the making of etchings, collagraphs, monotypes and other printmaking techniques. She was raised in a family which ran a small fine art press and continues her life-long love of paper, printing ink and books by teaching and creating.
