Nature inspires me with its balance and beauty. It seems to pose for us in splendor if we would only observe and savor it.

I also appreciate city, industrial and marine landscapes. An aging, peeling doorway, a moment in shadow, a shipyard shape all catch my eye.

Photography records what is already there. Finding the story that is within it and bringing it to our attention makes a statement that is as individual as a painter’s brushstroke.

As all artwork does, photography generates emotion in the viewer, wether it’s wonder, familiarity, delight, or something un-nameable that touches us deep inside.

My intention is to inspire my audience with images and words, and to show the sheer beauty of the world around us.
