Located in historic downtown Benicia, near the waterfront and marina, HQ Gallery is a vibrant and relevant fine art space that has prominent distinction in the local arts culture. As an artist-run collective, we showcase established and emerging artists in a wide variety of mediums including, acrylics, assemblage, ceramics, charcoal and ink, clay, collage, digital art, drawing and illustration, fabric art, metal, mixed media, oil , photography, and watercolor Located in the historic Washington House Building, near the waterfront, we welcome visitors from all over the Bay Area.Our visitors come from all over the Bay Area and beyond.
Our gallery features new shows every two months and they are widely publicized in the press, on social media, on our website, in print and by email. The Hospitality Committee hosts a reception for each show and the
gallery frequently holds other special events such as special sales, artist demonstrations, promotions, poetry readings and participates in Benicia Main Street and City of Benicia events such as the Art Walks on First Street.
HQ Gallery is open Thursday — Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. We have city and public health department approved Covid-19 safety measures in place to protect our gallery docents and our visitors.
